Our recently refurbished setting offers a fresh, vibrant learning environment designed to inspire young minds. We’ve created a space that combines modern amenities with the charm of nature, providing a stimulating and comfortable atmosphere for your child’s early years.
Our Forest nursery encourages exploration and hands-on learning, fostering independence and creativity. Children engage with nature, develop teamwork, and enhance problem- solving skills. The outdoor gazebo ensures learning continues in all weather, providing a comfortable, sheltered space for activities and discovery.
At Jack and Jill’s, children enjoy hands-on experiences with our animals. Our pygmy goats – Storm, Rain, and Thunder – along with our guinea pigs and tortoise, help children learn responsibility, kindness, and empathy. Feeding, caring, and gentle handling create lasting memories and curiosity, making our nursery a truly special place where learning and nature come together.
We pride ourselves on serving fresh, nutritious meals prepared by our talented in-house chefs. We source local produce and prepare all dishes on-site, from fruit smoothies and quinoa salads to family favourites like cottage pie. We also introduce children to global cuisines, including Indian and Italian dishes, with Halal options available to cater to all dietary needs.
Our indoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to foster development, with resources for role play, language, literacy, discovery, and creativity. We offer a rich variety of educational toys, books, and materials, ensuring every child thrives with us.
We run regular music and dance programmes with external teachers to help develop children’s coordination, rhythm, and confidence. These activities provide a fun and engaging way for children to learn new skills and explore movement. We also welcome a variety of farm animals to the nursery, giving children the chance to interact with and learn about them in a hands-on, memorable way.
Gardening Club gives children hands-on experience planting, growing and caring for plants. Through these fun sessions, little learners discover where food comes from, develop fine motor skills and build a lifelong connection with nature.
Children enjoy yoga sessions that build strength, balance, and coordination in fun, age-appropriate ways. Beyond movement, yoga nurtures relaxation, focus, and mindfulness, helping children manage emotions and grow in confidence. It’s a calm, positive activity supporting physical wellbeing and emotional resilience—skills that benefit them well beyond their nursery years.
Our Cooking Club is a real favourite at Jack and Jill’s. Children roll up their sleeves, explore new ingredients, and discover the joy of creating food together. It’s more than cooking, it sparks curiosity, builds life skills, and encourages healthy choices, while giving little ones a real sense of pride in what they’ve made.

Sophie has been part of the Jack and Jill’s family for 12 years and is our Nursery Manager. She is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, happy and encouraged to thrive. Sophie loves getting to know each child and family and takes great pride in watching children grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach important milestones. Her positive energy helps make the nursery a welcoming place for everyone.

With over 20 years of HR experience, Sarah joined Jack and Jill’s Day Nursery as HR & Operations Manager in November 2025. Sarah is passionate about creating a positive and supportive workplace where staff feel valued and can thrive. Sarah enjoys working closely with staff to ensure they feel valued, supported, and empowered to provide the highest standard of care and education for every child.

Tayeb is Jack and Jill’s dedicated Chef, bringing a fresh and exciting vision to mealtimes across the nursery. Using Early Years Foundation Stage nutrition guidance, he creates nutritious, balanced meals that encourage children to explore new flavours and develop healthy eating habits. Tayeb is passionate about providing high-quality food and takes pride in ensuring every child enjoys a positive dining experience.

Chloe is our Room Leader for Snowflakes and loves inspiring creativity through arts and crafts, messy play, music and movement. Mel is a valued member of our team. Her calm and nurturing nature helps children feel settled and secure as they begin their nursery journey. Mel enjoys getting to know each child and their family, helping to create a strong sense of trust and belonging within the room.

Having been with the Jack and Jill’s for 15 years, Sheraz truly considers the nursery her second home.
